Iskandar Malaysia Sustainable Tourism Upskilling and Reskilling (IMSTATURE) Programme

We are pleased to update you that MACEOS has been appointed by the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) to deliver 3 (three) training programme for the tourism industry and related business events sector, under Iskandar Malaysia Sustainable Tourism Upskilling and Reskilling (IMSTATURE) Programme.

 

Below is line-up of our programme/date:-

  2. Upcoming Event : Event Management Certification (EMC) – April 2023
  3. Past Event : Exhibition Professional Management Certification (EPMC) – 15-17 February 2023

 

Above programmes are COMPLIMENTARY for the tourism industry players – must be Johor-based and having their operations/businesses in Johor.

Conference Management Certification (CMC)

Date: 7-9 March 2023 (Tuesday-Thursday)
Time: 09:00-17:00
Venue: DoubleTree By Hilton, Johor Bahru
Format: On-site Physical Attendance
  • CMC programme worth RM3,000 per pax inclusive of course materials, F&B, CE hour & certificate.
  • Complimentary for the Tourism Industry and related Business Events sector (incl. conference organiser, DMC, event planner, hotel with meeting facilities, venue operators & etc) in Iskandar Malaysia and Johor.
  • Spaces are limited with only 30 available on a first-come, first‑served basis.
  • Upon successful completion of the course, you will be presented with a certificate certified by MACEOS.

 

The Conference Management Certification (CMC) is a comprehensive certification course with all the fundamental aspects to equip business events practitioners with knowledge on how best practices can be applied, as well as methodology when managing congress and application of event technology in their event planning. CMC is perfect for those who want to embark on the business events industry, such as meetings, conventions and exhibitions. It is also highly suitable for academicians in events management faculties to better understand the practical applications of business events. CMC participants will better understand how practical applications can be applied right away!

All modules are conducted by experienced and qualified trainers practising business operations in Business Events.

  • Provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the conferences and meetings industry;
  • Expose participants to fundamental conferences and meetings concepts and techniques;
  • Enhance understanding of various components and entities involved in the industry; and

Methodology

The training will be delivered in a lecture and facilitation mode. Participants can look forward to an interactive, collaborative training session that blends lectures and discussions with engaging activities geared towards understanding the material. No grades are given – simply a chance for everyone to engage in positive learning!
